Thursday, March 10, 2022 –The city diplomat who was recently assaulted by bodaboda riders along Forest Road in Nairobi was allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road.

It has emerged that she was not only arrogant but also un-remorseful even after she had knocked down an innocent delivery man who was on a motorbike.

“The diplomat even brushed off the Kenya Police who wanted to accompany her to the Police Station noting that she was waiting for Diplomatic Police to arrive,” the source claimed.

More sources have emerged on social media claiming that the victim who was knocked down by the lady was not a bodaboda rider as was widely circulated but he was a delivery man on duty. He is employed by a local laundry company.

“Take a moment to think about Hezron Mwenda, the Rider who was hit by the Lady who was harassed. Hezron isn’t a Boda guy, delivery guy to customers. He is licensed and the motorbike fully insured,” the source Gordon Opiyo said.

After the accident, the motorbike was confiscated by police from Parklands Police Station and the family now fears that there will be no justice because government has already taken sides.

The incident has seen government declare a nationwide crackdown on rogue bodaboda operators across the country. All operators have also been asked to register with National Transport and Safety Authority NTSA.
