Friday, January 20, 2023 –Schools are required to start registering 2023 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Schools KCSE candidates before March this year.
Making this directive on Friday January 20 morning during the release of 2022 KCSE results, KNEC CEO David Njeng’ere announced that the registration portal will be ready for the exercise from next month February 1.
“We are starting the process of registering candidates from February 1 to March 31. Every centre has two months to ensure all students are registered,” he said.
He warned teachers and parents that their will be no grace period for registration and, therefore, need to do all the registration within that time limit.
“KNEC wants the teachers to ensure that all eligible candidates are registered through the portal,” Mr. Njeng’ere stated.
The procedure dictates that that all official registration forms must be filled by the school principals and delivered to the official Council in Nairobi.
