Embattled Gachagua Receives More bad news From Prof. Ngunyi

Sunday, September 22, 2024 –Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has fired at Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua saying he did not play any major role in the last campaigns that saw Kenya Kwanza win power.

In a hard-hitting statement today Sunday September 22, Prof Nguyi firmly reminded the DP of his shortcomings especially in leadership and around their Mt. Kenya vote-rich region.

“Dear Riggy G: You are not selected, you are selected. Ruto took Mt Kenya from Uhuru without you. The 47% of Gema that voted Ruto had nothing to do with you. Do not Lie. All Ruto needed was a Kikuyu flower girl, with the head of a coconut to escort him to Statehouse. Lucky you!!!” exclaimed Prof. Ngunyi.

Earlier, the analyst had taken a cold swipe at the DP by setting up an opinion poll on him(Gachagua).

“Nyerere told us that politicians fall into two categories: Mjinga (Ignorant), Kumbafu (Stupid). If you educate Mjinga, you eradicate their IGNORANCE. But Kumbafuness is a condition. Its like being short or tall. You cannot CHANGE it. Which of the two is Riggy G,” he wrote on X.

Mutahi then dived into the mucky Mt. Kenya political storm saying Gachagua has been on the  forefront in championing for divisions being experienced in their region and which he described as ‘unhealthy’.

“The Embu and the Meru Nations have been misused by Kikuyus since independence. Kikuyus see them as appendages. Rebellion by mt Kenya east from the bondage of Central Kikuyus is inspired. Now we must liberate the Valley Kikuyus. They have nothing in common with Riggy-G Kikuyus”.

This happening at the time Gachagua continues to face impeachment threats from MPs allied to President William Ruto.

Speaking today(Sunday) from a church function, the second-in-command warned that any attempts to implement his ouster would backfire right in the face of President William Ruto because Kikuyus never forgive betrayals.

He was accompanied by his teammates among them former UDA Party Secretary General Cleophas Malalah.
