Tuesday, February 23, 2021 -The current altercation between Raila Odinga and other NASA affiliate parties brings to question the honest in the next crop of persons we want to give power.
Someone somewhere will argue that the Orange Democratic Movement ODM boss Raila Odinga is to blame for all these while others would blame Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Wetang’ula. Either of the answers can be right or wrong; this will entirely depend on which side of the divide you are standing.
ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Wiper Democratic Movement Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka have constantly been attacking Raila simply because they wanted him to support them. The question is who among the two will Raila be endorsing because as far as the country is concerned, both want to be leaders; so who should Odinga endorse? First and to be sincere with each other, Kalonzo, Musalia and Wetang’ula are a disorganized lot who must pick one man for endorsement before they blame it on Odinga. That is a fact.
They must also prove that they are presidential material by meeting the standards required for one to vie for that top seat. But as far as I am concerned, no one among them has hit that threshold both in support clout and popularity.
Said and done, Kalonzo cannot come today to convince Kenyans that Mr. Odinga is a man who cannot be trusted. First and foremost, Mr. Musyoka is the number one problem in this country as far as trust in concerned. Show me the most untrustworthy leader and I will show you Kalonzo! He cannot be trusted with anything. He changes positions and colour anytime of the day like a chameleon and to now purport that he is clean, is equal to daytime robbery; no wonder he was christened a Watermelon. I dint know if he is one anyway.
Now, let us discuss the highly debated Odinga’s mock swearing event held at Uhuru Park on January 30, 2018. Who for God’s sake, doesn’t know that the swearing in was illegal? Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Wetang’ula must stop the hypocrisy. They have made so many mistakes by giving Kenyans different versions of the reasons that made them not to appear at Uhuru Park; they started by the Nigerian number version, House arrest version and now Kalonzo claims he purposely refused because it was illegal. I mean these type of leaders are a bunch of men who cannot be trusted because they don’t even remember their own lies.
It is embarrassing that the three men have consciously and constantly given Kenyans more than three versions or statements on why they were a no-show at Uhuru Park. They want us to believe all that trash. That is not being gentleman. They are not and they can tell it to the dogs.
The trio have not told us why the skipped walking to Uhuru Park. Kalonzo’s latest version is the most silly version because Miguna is a lawyer like him same to Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang who administered the oath. Orengo was also present and they are all still practicing. And if it is something to do with the senior counsel title, James Aggrey Orengo is one. In fact, Kalonzo cannot lie that by that time he was one. He got the title the other day alongside Martha Karua who is another problem for this country now busy opposing the BBI just because she lost the gubernatorial seat to Waiguru. Mr. Kibaki also gave her a cold shoulder despite having supported him fangs and tongs in 2007. Could she be living a bitter life? This area will be for another day.
Back to Kalonzo; among the three Musalia, Wetang’ula and Mr. Kalonzo, the Wiper leader is the last person who can be trusted to lead this country. I doubt if he can even win the Kitui Governors seat. Ngilu might beat him hands-down because of the confusion he has constantly displayed anytime he opens his mouth to speak and any time he moves his feet. It is disastrous. Someone tell him Alfred Mutua is jostling to replace him as the Kamba Kingpin and therefore he should start looking for another title.
