Tuesday, July 30, 2024 ––Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has flagged off 67 Kenyan teachers who have secured job placements in various schools in the United States of America U.S.A.
In his remarks during the exercise, PCS Mudavadi noted that the government reiterates its commitment to safeguard and protect the rights and welfare of the Kenyan diaspora and to integrating their valuable contributions into nation-building process.
“Today, we proudly send-off a cohort of Kenyan teachers who have secured job placements in various district schools across the United States of America,” he noted.
He urged the group to strictly adhere to high standards of nationhood and to serve as an inspiration for others who may be looking forward to working overseas.
“As ambassadors of Kenya’s values and aspirations, I urge these educators to elevate our nation’s education standards on the international stage and to serve as an inspiration for others who aspire to work abroad, not only in education but across diverse sectors,” said Mudavadi.
The exercise to fly teachers abroad happening amid escalated complaints of joblessness among the graduates in the country.
