Thursday, September 9, 2021 -Orange Party leader Raila Odinga has dropped another bombshell on how he came in to save President Uhuru Kenyatta from Ruto.
Addressing Orange members at his Chungwa House on Wednesday September 8, the former prime minister recounted how they came together with Uhuru through their historic March 9th Handshake saying it was a great savior for both the country and Uhuru in particular.
He claimed that, at that time, President Uhuru had been held hostage by a cabal of individuals in his government who couldn’t allow him to breath.
That the group of rogue officials had ganged up against him and he could do nothing as they looted public money dry the way they wanted through dubious tenders and ghost projects.
“I found (President) Uhuru was held by the neck, could not do anything. Right now, he can breathe and supervise development projects.”
“This was not possible in the past because the interest then was to get where to make money,” Raila stated.
Just this week, Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju also released a similar story against the DP in which he revealed how the latter used to blackmail the head of State all through their first term.
He added that the DP controlled a half of the Cabinet where he would appoint his tribesmen as well as make sure all the multi-million tenders were awarded in his favour what transformed him into an overnight billionaire.
