Tuesday, September 14, 2021 -Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru today met with Wiper Democratic Party boss Kalonzo Musyoka in a meeting the two discussed politics and economy and unity.
Governor Waiguru was first to rush to her Twitter account to update that the visit by the former Vice president today Tuesday September 14 saw them share a wide range of national matters including leadership and the complicated 2022 succession.
“It was a pleasure hosting Wiper Party Leader H.E @skmusyoka, his MPs and other leaders who paid me a courtesy call at the official County residence in Kirinyaga. We deliberated on National Unity, the Economy & especially women Inclusivity in national political leadership,” said Waiguru.
Musyoka was also in the company of other Wiper Party elected members who also lauded the meeting as a huge progress.

The Wiper Party leader had earlier been seen at Embu Governor Martin Wamboira’s offices where he also spent some hours with the county boss.
Wiper fraternity is expected in Mt. Kenya Region next week as part of their political tour ahead of the 2022 presidential duel.
“I held discussions with COG Chairman and Embu Governor Martin Wambora as I kick started my Mt. Kenya tour this morning. Several Wiper officials were also in attendance. Our journey to change the way things are done is gaining momentum by the day,” Kalonzo tweeted.
It ‘s not clear whether Anne Waiguru is planning to join forces with the Wiper Party boss following her last week’s threat that she was planning her next bold political move.
