MP Sudi was speaking this on Monday evening  September 7th moments after his colleague Johanna Ng’eno of Emurua Dikir Constituency had been arrested for insulting the first family.

“Unsavoury words against mothers and Head of State is a NO, NO. No amount of anger justifies use of offensive insulting language,” the DP wrote on social media.

Unapologetic Sudi, however, termed his sentiments against Mama Ngina as neutral and directed to all mothers including his own and not anyone in particular.

“I need to make a clarification here, I didn’t insult anybody’s mother. I just reiterated the fact that my mother, Mama Ngina and all other mothers are equal and they all deserve respect. However, my colleague Johanna Ng’eno was arrested because of mentioning Mama Ngina’s name. No one’s mother is more special than the other. That’s my take,” his response read.

Johanna had earlier hurled usavoury words at the Kenyattas saying since independent they had messed up the country and it was time they should exit the scene for fresh blood to take over.

“You are not Kenya and Kenya is nor Kenyatta’s or Mama Ngina’s land. This land belongs to 47 million Kenyans, you cannot run it as you wish,” the legislator mentioned.

He also asked President Kenyatta to do the honourable thing, finish his second term and leave the country for his Deputy William Ruto instead of dictating to Kenyans who should be the next president.

He further advised Kenyatta to follow footsteps of his predecessor Mwai Kibaki who did not impose his successor to Kenyans.
