Sunday, September 26, 2021 -Deputy President William Ruto has assured his tormentors of good State welfare and protection when they finally retire in 2022.
Addressing mammoths crowds in Migori County where he pitched camp on Saturday September 25, the second in command noted that he still harbors no bitter feelings with the two leaders – President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM Party leader Raila Odinga.
He added that the big role he played in helping them get elected into office was a clear indication that he had nothing against the two. He said its only that the priorities have now changed and he is focused more on helping the neglected poor citizens to get their fair share on the national cake.
“Mimi nitachunga hawa watu wote, ntapigia askari mingi mingi wakue wanatembea na kufanya maneno mzuri, no problem, iko shida gani?” the DP said.
The DP however, accused the two politicians of teaming up with One Kenya Alliance OKA to bring him down at all costs but assured them that their plans will not see the light of the day because both God and the people are awake today than before.
“Wameungana wanasema mimi nisipate… Wametengeza gang, wako na gang ya watu saba, lakini mimi nko na gang ya mahustler wote Kenya,” he said.
In his company was embattled Governor Okoth Obado, MPs Sylvanus Osoro and Ndindi Nyoro. Also present was ANC-turned-UDA political strategist Eliud Owalo.
Ruto is currently on a charm offensive around Nyanza Region where ODM Party makes its main political base.
