Monday, September 27, 2021 -Opposition Chief Raila Odinga today Monday September 27 toured the Mt. Kenya Region where the reception was extra-ordinary.
He used the opportunity to rally supporters to accept a change in leadership of this nation as well as to shun politics of tokenism which Deputy President William Ruto is daily preaching. He promised that together with the head of State and legislators, they will make sure fuel prices go back to normal by next week.
Addressing huge crowds at Kenol area in Murang’a County, the opposition supremo promised to push for low fuel prices so that traders and every Kenyan can breathe a sigh of relief from the harsh economic times.
“Najua bei ya mafuta sasa iko juu zaidi. Tutapunguza wiki hii..(I Know the prices of fuel are currently higher. We will reduce them within this week),” Raila said.
Mr. Odinga regretted that the increased prices of fuel was already biting the country at the time citizens should be getting support from the government.

To make his point taken serious, Odinga disclosed that Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga together with his colleagues in parliamentary committee were busy working all round the clock to fix the problem and that the price will be reduced by next week.
As soon as he talked about this, excited residents went into jubilation chanting ‘Raila Baba… Raila Baba’.
