Lawyer Reveals how the State is Planning to Demolish Weston Hotel

Friday October 8, 2021 -Nairobi lawyer also Senior Council Ahmednassir Abdullahi now claims that government almost brought down Deputy President’s hotel 48 hours ago.

Reacting just hours after Kapsaret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi talked about the plan to demolish the multi-million Weston Hotel facility along Lang’ata Road, Lawyer Nassir has confirmed that the State had lined up goons and tractors to bring down the DP’s hotel.

DP William Ruto’s Weston Hotel.

In his statement, the lawyer stated that the plan to pull down Weston was called off after those who had the ill minds suddenly changed along the way.

“As counsel on record for Weston Hotel, I can officially confirm that the Government of the Republic of Kenya 48 hours ago sent tractors and goons to demolish the Hotel. The operation was called off after the tractors reached the hotel and the powers that be changed their mind,” Ahmednassir stated.

Just two days ago, MP Sudi shared pictures of bulldozers which had allegedly been deployed for the exercise. He linked them to the ‘Deep State’ in a post that quickly went viral..

“The Deep State are indeed cornered. They have today decided to express their fury by attempting to demolish Weston Hotel,” Oscar Sudi wrote on Facebook.

Deputy President William Ruto.

Moments later, Weston Hotel delivered positive news to clients that business was going on as usual and nothing was there to worry about.

“We would like to clarify and assure our esteemed guests and the general public that the hotel operations are smoothly running without any interruption. Any contrary information should be disregarded,” reads an excerpt of the statement from hotel management.

Weston, for long now, has been at the center of ownership controversy with government threatening to take back its land where the facility sits. This has seen Ruto through his lawyers rush to court to halt the plan.
