Thursday, October 15, 2021 –Former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga’s tour in Eldoret town today was somewhat a success following the photos and videos that emerged online.
Mr. Odinga received an unexpected heroic welcome in Ruto’s backyard in a move which everybody is still talking about.
Eldoret is Ruto’s political bedrock and it had been expected that it won’t be a walk in the park for Mr. Odinga addressing anyone there. However, it turned out positive.
But despite all the hype, the former premier also received a hostile reception in some parts of the Rift Valley.
An exclusive video landed on our desk moments later showing how Ruto’s charged supporters booed Odinga with nonstop UDA and Hustler chants.
“UDA ….UDA…. UDA Hustler…. Kwendeni huko,” a section could be heard shouting.
In the short clip, the goons can be heard chanting only the Hustler songs as they urge Odinga to leave the region because he is unwanted.
However, after his tour, among the leaders from Rift valley Region who came out openly and hailed Odinga’s visit are Joshua Kutuny(Cherengany) and Oscar Sudi(Kapsaret) who emerged in a video welcoming Odinga and wishing him all the best.
