Senator Murkomen Fixed Ruto at the ICC – Keter

Monday, October 25, 2021 –Nandi Hills Member of Parliament Alfred Keter has incriminated Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen among the persons who fixed DP William Ruto at the Hague based Court.

In his hard-hitting and shocking revelations, the Nandi Hills legislator mentioned both Senator Murkomen and Mr. Stephen Sang as key individuals who took Ruto’s name to the Hague list that also had Uhuru’s name.

Senator Murkomen allegedly worked with Sang to list names of people they believed participated in the 2007/8 skirmishes and in the list they mentioned both journalist Joshua Arap Sang and DP William Ruto.

“It was Kipchumba Murkomen and Stephen Sang who gave the names of Henry Kosgey, William Ruto and Joshua Sang to ICC…and I can say it on national TV and anywhere,” said Alfred Keter amidst the cheering crowd.

Ruto and J. Sang would later be charged in the international court of criminal justice where they faced charges ranging from murder, forceful deportation of innocent persons among others.

However, along the way, the accusations were dropped in April 2016 after a section of judges refused to confirm the charges.

After the ruling by the court, both Uhuru and Ruto described the grueling court’s sessions as a nightmare not only for them and their families but also for the entire nation.
