Don’t Bring Your Baggage to UDA – Ngirici to Waiguru

Thursday, October 28, 2021 -Kirinyaga Woman Representative Purity Ngirici has challenged her political nemesis Anne Waiguru to carry her own cross and stop dragging names of other persons into her leadership woes.

This is after Anne ranted over a newspaper article which indicated that she was almost being arrested in connection to several fraudulent activities during her life in office both as a governor as well as during her tenure at the Devolution Ministry where billions of cash were lost in ghost tenders.

The Governor on Thursday October 28 claimed that she was now under the radar of EACC barely 48 hours after decamping to Ruto’s Hustlers team where she vowed to support the Bottom Up economic model as preached by the DP and his followers.

“Surely, barely 48hrs after we decamped to UDA and now this? As a believer in the rule of law, this is unfortunate. Its intention is to dissuade those contemplating the same and an attempt at engineering succession politics,” she complained on Facebook.

But MP Purity reminded her that her coming to United Democratic Alliance UDA Party must be conditional because the ‘johnnies come lately’ will not be put on the same level with party founders.

“When anti-graft agencies strike, don’t blame it on joining UDA. We have built the party from scratch,” Ngirici stated.

Purity and Anne could square it off for UDA Party ticket for Kirinyaga County gubernatorial seat which has gathered a lot of steam 10 months to the ballot.
