Friday, October 29, 2021 –Sh 1 million aide from Deputy President William Ruto which was, some times, back handed to youth in Kakamega County continues to haunt former Ikolomani lawmaker Boni Khalwale.
On Thursday October 28, it was claimed that Khalwale went missing with the cash which was meant to support both woman and youth in the area.
The allegations immediately sparked reactions across the county with sections asking Deputy President William Ruto to intervene so that the lost million can be recovered.
Led by Isukha South Member of County Assembly Farouk Andobe Machanje, the victims at Friends Hotel in Kakamega called upon Ruto to change his point man in Kakamega if he wanted to gain any serious support on the ground.
“We wanted to advice you William Ruto as our Deputy President and UDA presidential candidate,” the man in the middle mumbles as he starts his press conference not knowing his next sentence is about to change everything. “we have observed few issues over our veteran Boni Khalwale…” their presser read in part.
But at this point, the calm press briefing immediately turned chaotic and messy with a man standing at the back in a yellow UDA t-shirt threatening to die defending Khalwale.
“Wachana na Khalwale (leave Khalwale alone),” he says as he delivers a vicious slap smack in the middle of his shoulder blades.
He went ahead saying it will not be possible for anyone to hold a press conference against Boni Khalwale in Kakamega going forward.
“Wachaneni na Khalwale, hapa nimekataa, kama nikukufa nitakufa, hapa tutakufa hapa, nitakufa. Wachana na Kwalwale…(Leave Khalwale alone, if it is death, let me die, leave Khalwale alone…)” adds the now rogue man who is fighting the war single handedly.
Later after the ruckus, media would learn that the goon was Michael Amalemba who claims to be UDA Party coordinator in Kakamega County.
