Uhuru’s Inner Circle Rejects Karua, Wants Peter Kenneth to Deputize Raila

Sunday, November 21, 2021 –A larger section of President Uhuru Kenyatta-allied-politicians have faulted any plans to front Martha Karua to deputize Raila Odinga.

This is after Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria recently proposed Karua as the best person to be Odinga’s running mate in 2022.

President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Odinga, according to political analysts, is the preferred candidate for the president and who stands a better chance of taking power from President Kenyatta who is serving his last term in office.

Nonetheless, Uhuru Kenyatta’s inner-circle argue that Ms Karua and Odinga cannot last long together due to the fact that she is a hardliner who could cause more troubles in Odinga’s 2022 administration.

That her stance might again trigger irreconcilable differences with President-elect Raila Odinga  and cause unnecessary friction in government that could spill to their communities.

Just the other day, Ms Karua(Party leader Narc-Kenya) warned the country against electing thieves into office since it was time now to have fresh leadership that could breathe life back into the economy of this nation.

“I want to take this chance and without mentioning their names because they are known; to warn, advise and direct all Mt Kenya region residents and Kenyans at large to desist and avoid falling in the traps of these people.

“They have masqueraded as agents of lights, whereas we see what has happened to the Jubilee Party… Please don’t support them, they are thieves,” Karua told Inooro TV early this week.

Raila therefore could likely be deputized by ex-Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth who many elites from the region have seemingly picked as their best bet to work with the ODM Party boss.
