Amani National Congress ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi has asked Deputy President William Ruto to stop running away from the harm Jubilee government has caused Kenyans.
The ANC leader, while speaking on Wednesday September 30th, said Ruto was not honest by trying to pretend that he was not part of the rote in Jubilee administration just because his eyes are now focused on 2022 votes.
He termed such gimmicks as ‘political deceit’ meant to hoodwink unsuspecting citizens to think that Uhuru and Ruto were not a pair.
He said Uhuru without Ruto is no presidency same to the vice versa and both were elected as a pair till the end of their last term. They must therefore carry the blame together.
“We are basically all under siege but surprisingly now we see a scenario where the Deputy President is telling the President sorry I am not part of it, it is you. Is this deceit?” Mudavadi posed as he asked Ruto to admit his input in the ongoing rot in the country.
Mudavadi then went ahead to caution every Kenyan not to fall into such a trap laid by political leaders who want to play around with their lives for selfish interests.
The Party leader further went ahead to state that dirty politics displayed in this country have led to rampant corruption where leaders are looting everything they can access with a lot of reckless abandon knowing quite well they will escape the dragnet due to power they are wielding.
“We have our elections two years from now as a Kenyan people but there is one thing that is so now glaring in Kenya, politics of deceit and deception. Because it is chocking Kenyans. We are witnessing one of the most extraordinary things that we have ever seen in government. For 10 years come 2022 we shall have been led by the Jubilee Government, but right now we are seeing things that are unbelievable,” Mudavadi noted.
Mr. Mudavadi also reminded the country that it was dramatic to see Mr. Ruto play around with wheelbarrows as the president, on the other hand, work on fighting Covid-19 pandemic.
