Monday, December 6, 2021 –National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi has warned Mt Kenya Region to stop being hoodwinked by Deputy President William Ruto who he has described as a man with a hidden agenda.

Addressing supporters last Sunday December 5, Mr. Muturi added that the DP was good at pretending to be a nice man this time of vote hunting but for those who knows his character, he is a complete opposite of what he is displaying today in public.

The presidential hopeful revealed that his interactions with the second in command have not been a good experience and this should be known by Kenyans who want to elect him into power.

“Ruto today approaches you, enticing you as he jokes with you, but when he will win the Presidency and you happen to knock at his door, you will be met by a rude shock,” Muturi remarked.

He went on to advise all Mt Kenya party leaders to be cautious of folding their parties because this could cost them after they fully enter United Democratic Alliance UDA Party.

He argued that what has happened in their Jubilee Party will be worse with Ruto’s UDA Party for those who may not be aware.

Muturi’s no-holds-barred remarks are coming at the time Ruto has continued pitching camp in Mt Kenya in search of a solid support ahead of the next elections.

The DP who is a front runner is also on record hinting at picking a running mate from the vote-rich Mt Kenya Region.

In his Nyeri tour over the weekend, Ruto mentioned Mathira Member of Parliament Rigathi Gachagua as the man who may likely be his 2022 running mate.
