Friday, December 10, 2021 –Gideon Moi defies One Kenya Alliance OKA orders to attend Raila Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja National Convention at Kasarani Stadium on Friday December 10.
Early in the morning, the KANU Chairman joined Odinga at Safari Park Hotel along Thika Road where they had their breakfast before he left shortly to Odinga’s arrival at Kasarani Stadium.
The former Prime Minister Mr. Odinga, is today at Kasarani set to make an official announcement on his quest for the top seat.
Mr. Odinga will address the long awaited message on his candidature for the 2022 fifth presidential stab in which he will be facing-off with well-oiled Deputy President William Ruto(UDA Party).
Among the guests in attendance were former Nigeria President Olusegun Obasanjo, top ODM leaders, COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli, Hassan Ali Joho (governor Mombasa) and Wycliffe Oparanya (governor Kakamega), Cyrus Jirongo(OKA) etc.
Present also were Jubilee Party officials and elected members of parliament who made their way into the stadium among them Sabina Chege, David Murathe and Maina Kamanda and Raphael Tuju, Council of Governors Chairman Martin Wambora among many others.
Conspicuously missing were Amani National Congress ANC Party boss Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetang’ula and Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper Democratic Party.
