In his own words, the ailing MP said its not easy to survive in politics if one is psychologically weak since you could be betrayed anytime any day at the less expected moments.

He observed that what has disturbed him even more is when the deputy president received Laikipia Woman Representative Catherine Waruguru into the United Democratic Alliance UDA Party just days after she had insulted him. Waruguru had peddled negative remarks on Kuria’s illness.

“I actually shed a tear when I saw the Deputy President receiving my colleague Cate Waruguru to UDA a few days after she publicly wished me the worst through social media,” Kuria told the Standard.

In a social media post, the woman representative wished Kuria no peace after he was admitted in a Nairobi hospital.

“May God not hear your prayers, but I will pray for you, my condition notwithstanding,” Kuria responded while sharing the personal message sent by the Laikipia lawmaker.
