Saturday, January 29, 2022 –Deputy President William Samoei Ruto is now inching closer to calling out his boss Uhuru Kenyatta.
In a verbal attack aimed directly at the president, Ruto stated that there is no room for Kenyans to accept voting for any forced project on them.
He warned Uhuru to stop fronting Raila Odinga as his preferred candidate for the August 9 polls saying, instead, what the president should be focusing on is how every citizen can afford a meal on the table every evening.
Addressing in Bungoma County, yesterday Saturday January 28, the DP who was with his stooges in their Kenya Kwanza rally, mentioned that, just like Uhuru was rejected on the ballot in 2002, so will Odinga be rejected by the people of Kenya in the next elections.
“I want to tell my friend, the president of Kenya, that the people of Kenya rejected a project 20 years ago.
“There is no way they can elect anybody’s puppet in August this year,” Ruto said.
He went on to describe Raila Odinga as a State puppet that will be embarrassed at the ballot come next elections.
“The people of Kenya are going to make a conscious decision and they will not buy the nonsense of a project including the deep state and the system,” Ruto charged.
Ruto who has all along been using his allies to fight the president, for the first time, decided to go bare-knuckle at his boss and reminded him that with elections only 6 months away, poor Kenyans were angry at his leadership which he should be fighting to save for the sake of his legacy.
“Kenyans are wise. In the modern-day, they will not be bullied or cajoled to elect their leaders. The people of Kenya will make a conscious decision and vote for their candidate of choice this August.
“We are united and determined to form the next government. Kenya Kwanza,” Ruto went on.
Despite Uhuru not going open on his support for Odinga, Ruto and his allies seem to be running scared of such a move should it finally materialize.
