Thursday, February 24, 2022 –Lurambi Constituency Member of Parliament Tiutus Khamala has responded to those claiming he was bought to join Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party.
MP Khamala castigated his detractors who have been accusing him as having made a risky decision to join Raila’s Orange Party.
“Ati wabunge walipewa 20 million.. who will give 20 million? Raila mwenye mnajuwa can pay you money? Mungu atakuwa ameshuka kutoka mbinguni! Huyo hana bad manners..hayuko hapo kabisa,” he remarked.
Addressing supporters in Kakamega today Thursday February 24, the outspoken legislator laughed off the allegations saying those faulting his move were hypocritical since most of them have also switched camps.
He listed his former boss Musalia Mudavadi as having literally moved to United Democratic Alliance UDA while Deputy President William Ruto having moved to UDA from Jubilee.
He also claimed that the president of the republic of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta is also in ODM/ Azimio same to Raila who is now in Azimio.
The Cornerstone Ministries Bishop further argued that almost everybody is making changes ahead of August contest depending on their own assessment of the current political torrents.
He said Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala’s heart is today in UDA while the body is still in Amani National Congress A NC.
Khamala disclosed that his move was also informed by the need to have peace in the country because he believes Raila could be the best man to keep this country together.
