Sunday, March 13, 2022 –Amani National Congress ANC Party members have started piling pressure on their UDA Party partners in their Kenya Kwanza coalition to treat them as equal partners.
The Amani party members led by Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala on Saturday March 13 demanded that the United Democratic Alliance UDA partners take the presidency and leave deputy post for Musalia Mudavadi saying he was the most qualified for that position than any other person in that coalition.
Malala who was addressing supporters in a funeral environment in his home county reasoned that comparing Musalia and MP Rigathi Gachagua, one would quickly go for Musalia who has had enough experience in national leadership.
“Musalia amekuwa minister wa local government, finance na pia amekuwa Vice President na pia anajua economy,” he argued.
He challenged UDA to allow for a competitive approach to be applied while choosing Kenya Kwanza running mate person just like it has happened while choosing the flag-bearer.
The Senator charged that their coalition is of parties and not region and warned that should Mudavadi not be picked then their could be repercussions.
