Monday, March 14, 2022 –Mr. David Murathe has finally answered Deputy President William Ruto on the ‘brotherly agreement’ they had with President Uhuru Kenyatta on serving 10 years each.
In his latest statement, Mr. Murathe stated that as things stand now, not Uhuru nor Ruto owe each other any political debt and that Uhuru has not broken any covenant they had with Dr. Ruto.
In his own words, ‘the yangu kumi yako kumi’ deal had already run its full course because the two leaders all have served 5 years each as co-principals.
”Yangu Kumi na ya Ruto Kumi has already happened. Uhuru has served 10 years as president, Ruto has served 10 years as co-president, you may call him a deputy president, but the Kenyan presidency is a pair,” Murathe remarked in an interview with KTN News on Sunday.
Murathe also said that Ruto is the only leader who can take over in case something happens on President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“When Uhuru is away, Ruto is president, when Ruto is campaigning even today, he campaigns using government resources,” he added.
The ex-Gatanga MP dropped another final huge bombshell saying Ruto, just like President Uhuru Kenyatta, had also served his 10 years in the deputy president’s position.
“Uhuru has served 10 years, Ruto has served 10, unless they want Ruto to serve 20 years,” he added.
Mr. Murathe earlier on had made claims that Ruto was paid a colossal sum of money to support Uhuru and if he wanted any support from Uhuru today he should also do part with some money.
