Tuesday, March 15, 2022 –United Democratic Alliance UDA politician Boni Khalwale and Azimio la Umoja communication Director Makau Mutua met in Uganda.
Taking to his Twitter account on Monday March 14, the Western Region Ruto’s point-man shared a photo together with Prof. Mutua and George Kegoro. He said that they had paid a visit to Ugandan former presidential aspirant Dr. Kizza Besigye.
Though the aim of their meeting remained closed, he claimed that their meeting was informed by their plan to check on Uganda’s long time opposition leader Mr. Besigye.
“When doctors meet. Bumped into Dr Kizza Besigye, the former Ugandan Presidential aspirant. He was accompanied by his Kenyan friends, Prof Mutua and George Kegoro,” Khalwale noted.
The photo has since sparked reactions with a section of Twitter users wondering whether the former legislator was planning to move to Azimio la Umoja to be able to make it to Governor’s position in Kakamega where he is facing a tough rivalry from worthy competitor Mr. Fernades Barasa of ODM Party.
“Ask Bisigye to teach you opposition politics he is a guru don’t miss such a chance maisha ni ngumu hapo mbele,” Karisa commented.
As another advised him to politely speak to Makau so that he can help him move close to winning Kakamega governor race.
