Friday, March 18, 2022 –Wiper Democratic Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has disclosed intimate details in their agreement with Raila Odinga and Jubilee’s Uhuru Kenyatta.
The One Kenya Alliance OKA leader has today on Friday March 18 told Musyi FM that, though, he initially wanted to push for the running mate position, he was still willing to take up the third position in their Azimio la Umoja government.
Kalonzo who did not disclose which third position he wants to take said most of these details are only known by three individuals who are President Uhuru Kenyatta, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and himself.
This being his third time to shelf his ambitions to lead the country for Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party leader Raila Odinga, Kalonzo is optimistic that in 2027 he will be the automatic flag bearer of their coalition come what may.
He noted on Musyi FM that in 2017, Mr. Odinga and himself had a private agreement that wanted the former to support his bid in 2022 but this had been reneged upon and he has since let the bygones be.
“Talks on power-sharing are still underway. We want to ensure that the Kamba community gets the respect it deserves.
“As OKA, we shall be on the ballot because we have created a coalition agreement modelled around the three-legged stool known as Azimio-One Kenya Alliance,” the Wiper leader stated.
His sentiments are coming at the time ODM leaders led by Secretary General Edwin Sifuna said the One Kenya Alliance or OKA is only indicated in their operations slogan and not in the final name.
