Sunday, March 27, 2022Kenya Kwanza team is now blaming President Uhuru Kenyatta and Rt. Honourable Raila Odinga for attempting to use a whopping sh 1 billion to buy former UDA and ANC allied politicians.

In his Mombasa rally yesterday Saturday March 26, Dr. Ruto took it upon himself to question the motive behind spending the money when the country was in a food crisis.

“At the time when citizens are dying of hunger in various parts of Kenya, sh 1 billion has been released to buy politicians to return to Jubilee. Do these people really understand what going hungry means?

“The biggest shame ever is when a government uses a billion shillings in a month where people there are dying of hunger, to buy politicians instead of food for the people,” stated the DP.

DP’s cry was supported by scores of his team members among them Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki who argued that civil servants were also being misused by the State for political reasons.

“We want to warn the public servants who are being used to siphon public money to use it to buy aspirants everywhere in this country that a public officer who causes the loss of public funds will be held personally responsible whether they are in the office or have left,” cautioned Kindiki.

On his part, Amani National Congress ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi castigated the government for failing to check the rising cost of living and instead focusing on pushing a Raila presidency to the people of this nation.

“A bag of fertilizer is between sh 6,000 and sh 7,000. MPs of Kenya Kwanza pitched a proposal to have the sale of subsidized fertilizer.

“Uhuru’s Government has removed that and said that they are taking the money to security. That money is not being taken to security, it is being taken to the Azimio team so that they can fuel their campaign,” the ANC Party boss stated.

This was happening even as the president continued to explain why he could not work with Ruto any longer. He claimed that the DP was almost succeeding in dethroning him from power.

Uhuru told the over 3,000 elders from Kiama Kia Ma, Kikuyu Council of elders, church leaders and other elected leaders from his region that his relationship with Ruto took a nose dive long ago.
