Saturday, May 7, 2022 –Mr. David Murathe has now said Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka can make a very unfriendly Deputy President because of his latest conduct.
In a lengthy Paper Interview of Friday, the Jubilee Party Vice Chairman detailed why they will not allow Musyoka to deputize Raila saying, of late, Kalonzo had openly showed how he cannot go along with Raila.
Murathe added that looking at the way Kalonzo has been conducting himself, utterances and signs, this is a man who has been coached by Ruto to be not only stubborn but equally unbecoming.
“We want an obedient deputy and Kalonzo is out because of his recent tantrums,” Murathe stated.
He also reminded the country that Kalonzo has been on record promising to be hell in Raila’s administration if they happen to win.
“Ruto knew that he wanted to become president so he began campaigning immediately Uhuru was sworn in for his final term – I have learned a lot from him. Once Raila becomes president, I will also begin my campaigns the following day,” the former Vice-President stated a couple of weeks ago.
Murathe, who is a close friend of President Uhuru Kenyatta, observed that for the last few weeks, the Wiper Democratic Party boss had demonstrated that he cannot be trusted with the presidency nor the deputy position.
The Jubilee official argued that Kalonzo could be an unfriendly deputy president to Mr. Odinga and could take up arms against him, similar to how Deputy President William Ruto has been in constant fights with his boss, President Kenyatta.
The former Gatanga Member of Parliament said the Azimio alliance wants a deputy who will be acceptable by all Kenyans and who will not disturb his boss the way it has been in their Jubilee regime.
Among the names which are being considered in Azimio include, Sabina Chege, Martha Karua, Peter Kenneth and Kalonzo Musyoka.
