Members of Tangatanga group are holding secrete talks to support the Building Bridges Initiative. It has now emerged.
The report which was handed over to the two Handshake partners Odinga and Uhuru recently left the deputy president badly exposed and with only two options –to support or to oppose.
According to renowned blogger Robert Alai through his social media handles, Tangatanga wing was busy scheduling a programme to fit into the BBI programme with sources claiming that they also want to officially launch their support for the project.
“I am told that Hustler’s gang leader will launch his support for #BBIReport soon as the document is a blessing in disguise for his campaign. BBI now gives him an avenue to promise his supporters seats, something he wasn’t sure how he was going to achieve,” Alai claimed.
Ruto and his allies started opposing the Building Bridges Initiative BBI Report even before it was ready, and this sudden change of mind has left their supporters in some kind of confusion.
On his timeline today Saturday October 24, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkoemen observed that they now want to support the project to be able to avoid being destructed from their 2022 plans.
Murkomen argued that they want to avoid unnecessary confrontations with Kenyans at the time their eyes are set on the 2022 General Election’s ball.
Miles away in Kakamega County, ODM brigade launched a scathing attack at Ruto’s wing for just ‘hanging in there’ without a clear decision.
Senator James Orengo for instance, cautioned that Ruto and his allies will soon be coming back to join the ‘BBI train’ with some conditions since they had run out of options.
“Soon you will see those people coming back with conditions,” Orengo cautioned Kenyans saying such persons will be accepted only without conditions.
On his part, ODM Party leader Raila Odinga laughed at the sudden turn of events from the Tangatanga wing with a reminder on how they have been complaining about the document which they had not set their eyes on
