Friday, May 27, 2022 –Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka is expected to officially rejoin Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance from Monday next week.
Sources from within the party have told Homenews.co.ke that their party leader will be landing back in the country this weekend and on Monday there will be a big announcement that will change the political tides in the country.
He is expected to make this announcement at a major rally organized in Kilgoris Narok before heading to Suswa on Tuesday May 31.
This will be followed by a series of political events around Ukambani area and the country at large with the main focus on the bigger Azimio la Umoja picture.
The Wiper Party leader is currently outside the country in United Kingdom UK but will be back on Sunday; a day he will also meet his troops and party’s National Executive Council NEC to ratify the decision to come back to Azimio so that they can all start official campaigns for their various seats.
The move by Kalonzo to come back to Azimio coalition was recently boosted by a meeting which saw a larger number of delegates from his backyard back the plan to work with Mr. Odinga.
Asked to clarify the Monday expected announcement, Wiper Secretary General Chirau Ali Mwakwere only asked the media to wait and see.
He argued that the final decision of any party lies with the top organ which is their National Executive Council NEC which has a date with Kalonzo this weekend.
