Monday, May 30, 2022 –Orange Democratic Movement ODM Member of Parliament has crashed on road shortly after having been cleared by Independent Electoral and Bounadaries Commission, IEBC.
William Kamoti of Rabai Constituency perished in a Sunday May 29 night fatal road accident while on his way back home from IEBC offices.
Kilifi OCPD Jonathan Koech explained that the ill-fated car rolled into a ditch after swerving to avoid hitting an oncoming truck.
The diseased was described by Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi as a true servant of the people whose style of leadership was admirable.
“Hon. Kamoti will be remembered for his non-confrontational leadership style which saw him earn admiration from many people beyond his constituency and also enabled him to achieve a lot for the people of Rabai Constituency.
“Indeed as a county, we have lost a devoted and hardworking leader,” Kingi went on.
On his part, Ganze MP Teddy Mwambire divulged how the diseased kept on updating his party leadership on the clearance process and his death came as a shock.
The late first came to Parliament in 2013 and had already served his full two terms going into the third.
