Friday, June 10, 2022 –To quickly confirm your voter registration details, Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC has provided two ways one can use to check whether the details are correct or wrong.
Today the IEBC made an announcement that voters do not need to physically visit their offices to confirm their details, instead they can do this through two primary ways.
One could decide to send an SMS with his/her passport or ID number to 70000. This SMS, unluckily, is not free and therefore you will be subject to sh 10 charges.
All mobile service providers – Telkom, Safaricom and Airtel – have been activated to give a response.
Second option could be through visiting IEBC voters’ portal which can be accessed through HERE.
Independent elections body IEBC is an authority tasked with the management and running of the elections affairs in the country. It also extends its mandate into boundary adjustments and registration of voters.
