This is after Boni Khalwale started indicating his willingness of working with the ODM candidate amid breakup with Senator Malala of ANC Party.

Recently, Malala and Kahlawale were involved in a public altercation in Matungu area after the latter mentioned Barasa in his address.

Khalwale had just urged locals to support either Malala or Barasa since they all are sons of the soil what Malala read as an open betrayal.

“My people, I am Khalwale. I want you to know that I come from Kakamega, Malala comes from Kakamega and Fernandes from Kakamega,” he said.

“All of us are seeking seats. Weigh us and pick whoever you want for any seat. Choose one who will care for you. Remember Khalwale is the best legislator in Kenya,” Khalwale announced.

The ex-Ketraco boss who is vying on an Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party ticket has intensified campaigns around Kakamega County to clinch the seat on August 9.
