Thursday, June 30, 2022 –Kenya Kwanza Alliance and Roots Party today night launched their respective 2022 manifestoes in Nairobi, just weeks to the polls.
As Deputy President William Ruto was leading his troops to Kasarani Stadium for their launch, Prof George Wajackoyah was gathering his masses at KICC where he listed his plan for the nation should he take power from the outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Prof Wajackoyah talked about suspending the Constitution which he described as punitive and meant to benefit only the elites and business brokers who have amassed wealth from the unsuspecting and helpless poor men and women, for so long.
“We will introduce subaltern laws, laws of the people and the only way we can do that is by suspending the constitution,” Prof. George Wajackoyah.
He also talked about marijuana farming and entrepreneurship and which will help a great deal in dealing with the ever-ballooning debt burden and continued borrowing from outside.
“From the stalks of marijuana, we will make yarn and paper for our books… If we legalize marijuana the cost of living will go down… – Gwada Ogot of Roots Party noted.
“We will Export Dog Meat! A kilogram of Dog Meat costs 6 times more than the price of a kilogram of Goat Meat. Kenya exports Beef, goat and lamb to the Middle East,” Wajackoyah reinforced the point.
A few kilometers way, UDA’s William Ruto who was also launching his manifesto promised to appoint the judges as was advised by Judicial Service Commission JSC, within only seven days of taking power.
Ruto added that his Kenya Kwanza government will be investing a whopping sh 250 billion in five years in the production industry; which monies will be found through budget reorganization and government restructuring which eventually will create jobs to the many jobless and stranded youth.
