Monday, July 4, 2022 –George Wajackoyah of Roots Party could deny Raila Odinga and William Ruto a straight round one win in the August 9 General Elections.
TIFA Researcher, Tom Wolf, said this when he appeared on Citizen Tv on Sunday July 3 night where he did not rule out that possibility.
Wolf argued that Wajackoyah’s strange manifesto recently introduced in the country was attracting a number of vibrant supporters who are curious of his style and who may end up backing him upto the ballot.
The TIFA researcher and a poll analyst claimed that, as of now, the Roots Party boss is at 7 percent city popularity; numbers previously enjoyed by DP Ruto and which are swelling by day.
ah”I think that given the unconventionality of his offerings to Kenyans, I have to say that anything is possible. You may recall that when TIFA did a Nairobi County Survey three weeks ago, he was at 7 per cent,” stated Wolf.
Wolf supported that Wajackoyah only attracts the hard labour market and the youth who make a larger percentage of the population despite the fact that most do not vote, anyway.
“I went back and looked at the data and I saw that he has about four times more support among people in the youngest age group, the 18-24 years than he does for people over 35 years old,” he added.
Latest research data shows that Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga commands a larger support in Nairobi followed by Kenya Kwanza leader William Ruto who is at 25 percent as Wajackoyah stands at 7 percent.
Mr. Wajackoyah is an established lawyer by profession and party leader at Roots Party which preaches marijuana gospel.
