Sunday, July 10, 2022 –Deputy President William Ruto also wanted to slap Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa. Details have emerged.
Speaking this just a week after a leaked audio recording implicating Ruto is a plot to fight his boss at the height of 2017/18 repeat election, Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa on Saturday July 9 during Azimio rally at Bukhungu Kakamega claimed that he was also a victim of Ruto’s brutality and anger.
“Ruto was furious and demanded my resignation. He wanted me to explain why I had taken leaders to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta without his permission” the CS recounted.
Wamalwa also reminisced how Ruto, sometimes back, confronted Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i immediately after Uhuru started embracing him as the best minister in government.
He divulged how Ruto openly confronted Dr. Matiang’i on several occasions warning him of consequences if he ever stepped into his line of duty.
These details are coming barely a week after an unadulterated audio clip surfaced online in which the second in command was threatening to land a slap on his boss, Uhuru Kenyatta.
a few days late, Ruto unexpectedly, would be confronted by both the reality and weight of the viral clip, hence forcing him to publicly confess it to be authentic and that he was, at the time, compelled to push Uhuru to remain in power despite that fact that the president was reluctant to continue with office.
And reacting on the matter a couple of days ago, Mr. Kenyatta noted that he actually did not want to continue governing the country past 2017; but his power-thirsty deputy-cum-running mate kept pressing on.
