Wednesday, July 12, 2022 –Uhuru Kenyatta’s cousin has sustained his onslaught against former Premier Raila Odinga and the president saying leadership in their hands remains a threat to the country.
Addressing this on Inooro FM today Wednesday July 13, Kungu Muigai said the Azimio leader has a lot of baggage which he will have to unload to Kikuyus once he takes charge at the Statehouse
He warned the Mt Kenya Region people against allowing the son of Oginag Odinga anywhere near power for reasons stated.
He also faulted the president and the first lady Mama Ngina Kenyatta for choosing Mr. Odinga at the expense of safety of Mt Kenya Region.
“Just wait and see, the likes of those from our region supporting him, they will try and call him after the election but calls will not go through on the premise of the government is at work,” he stated.
The patron of the Kikuyu Council of Elders also added that Luo Community was going to seize wealth and property from members of the Agikuyu community once they take the presidency.
“If you know Karanja Road in Kibra, the person who is named after that road has a son who is my friend. He had a complete school that was attacked in 2007 and the school was turned into dwelling units,” he claimed adding that if Odinga’s people could do that before taking power, what of if they did?
He therefore said a Raila presidency was going to cost this country not only security but also the long-built unity.
