Saturday, July 16, 2022 –There was, at some point, witnessed an ugly scuffle during Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya series of rallies held today around Nairobi City.
Notably, and according to the Saturday July 16 video with us, there was witnessed a 10-minute long standstill in a rally held in Dagoretti Corner when renowned blogger Robert Alai was involved in a scuffle with ODM Secretary General, Edwin Sifuna.
The two, according to our sources, differed on the programme which had excluded several members of county assembly and contestants to also have a chance to address supporters.
It is reported that Alai then pushed his way through to the list but the Master of Ceremony MC, Edwin Sifuna, maintained that there was no such a chance for him.
It was at this particular point that a scuffle ensued and which saw the two – Alai and Sifuna – exchange blows before their leader Raila Odinga who was on the podium addressing crowds, intervene by repeatedly shouting Alai’s name as part of his efforts to cool the situation that was getting offhand.
