Friday, July 29, 2022 –Today, Deputy President William Ruto has gone for Uhuru Kenyatta’s jugular through wild claims that the head of State is planning to harm his children.
Speaking in Nandi County today Friday July 29 afternoon, the visibly angry DP ranted too much on how the State was busy frustrating his bid ahead of August exercise.
In what many are yet to digest, he went ahead to warn Kenyatta against unleashing terror on his family saying men only face men without dragging in families.
“Mr. President stop talking about me and talk about your candidate. Be gentleman. Have some gratitude. We are the ones who helped you. When you needed people, we stood by you till the last minute Mr. Kitendawili only taunted you. Do not harm my children,” Ruto told the president as his supporters cheered on.
Additionally, he went ahead to claim that Uhuru had turned his office into a source of problems in this country by usurping powers given by the Constitution to tame rivals.
“I want to ask the President not to be the source of threats in Kenya. Stop threatening us. Your work is to ensure that all Kenyans are safe. Stop telling us that we will know that you are President. We are not people who can be threatened. We are the ones who elected you,” he added.
The UDA Party flag-bearer then challenged the Azimio la Umoja chairman to be ready for a humiliating defeat together with his project, Raila Odinga.
Ruto said he is no longer interested in his(Uhuru’s) support and or vote because Kenyans will be making a decision on who takes over the country from next month.
