Tuesday, August 2, 2022 –Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition leader Raila Odinga has cautioned Kisii County gubernatorial candidate, Simba Arati, against unruly behavior.
Raila who was addressing Gusii residents on Tuesday August 2 during their afternoon rally, told MP Arati to tone down his political rhetoric and start to respect his rivals most of whom are his elders and seniors.
Mr. Odinga who appeared to be not happy with the conduct of the Dagoretti North legislator, urged him to stop that behaviour because this will soon ruin his political career which has been on a steady rise.
“I am telling Mr. Arati who is vying for the Governor seat to respect others. He should not call others thieves before they are charged in a court of law and proven guilty. I am warning him like his father. He is my child, he must respect elders because he needs blessings from elders,” Raila noted.
The opposition leader used the chance to urge his charges in Kisii Region not to fight among themselves saying their differences was not sending the right signal to their supporters and in ODM Party.
While addressing the crowd, the Azimio la Umoja leader asked the region to vote six piece so that to give him numbers in both houses.
Candidates vying for Kisii gubernatorial candidate under Odinga’s coalition include Sam Ongeri (DAP-K), Christopher Obure (Jubilee Party), and Simba Arati(ODM).
Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya brigade today pitched camp in Kisii County which makes another of their stronghold.
