Wednesday, August 3, 2022 –Breakup is looming in Roots Party after the presidential candidate Prof George Luchiri Wajackoyah and her running mate, Justina Wamae openly pulled apart, publicly.

Addressing the issue on Citizen Tv today August 3 afternoon just hours after her boss Wajackoyah had hinted at joining Azimio las Umoja-One Kenya coalition, Ms Wamae came out to clarify that she will be joining the William Ruto-led Kenya Kwanza should push come to a shove

“It is true Wajackoyah is supporting Azimio la Umoja but we have not discussed that as a party,” she mentioned.

She went on to say that, as a party, they had not consulted conclusively on the matter and that though her boss is secretly supporting Raila Odinga, she will not go that direction; she will go to the contrary.

“I say that I will support the contrary. But as I speak we have not agreed as a party and we are still popularizing our agenda as Roots Party and our manifesto. But I seek to speak as Justina Wangoi Wamae coz I have an independent mind and we have our own supporters,” she added.

Her claims comes even as the party refuted claims of supporting either Raila Odinga of Azimio la Umoja or William Ruto of the United Democratic Alliance UDA Party.
