Thursday, August 4, 2022 –President Uhuru Kenyatta is the mastermind of chaos in the country. Deputy President William Ruto has claimed.
Ruto who was addressing members of the fourth estate at his Karen office on Thursday August 4 morning said that top journalists at Kameme FM and Inooro Tv had been persuaded by the State to propagate hate speech against communities.
Ruto roped in the office of the Director of Criminal Investigation DCI saying it is part of the larger scheme to set communities against each other.
In this list is Rift Valley Regional Commissioner, Maalim Mohammed, Trans Nzoia County Commissioner Samson Ojwang, Uasin Gishu’s Stephen Kihara and Esustus Mbui of Nakuru, whom he described as dangerous perpetrators of incitement messages in the country.
He said they are the people holding night meetings to plan societal conflict and who he claimed get express orders from Mr. Kenyatta to go against the law.
He added that all administration officials and law enforcers had been intimidated by the Interior Ministry to make sure Azimio la Umoja wins elections.
Ruto was saying this just a day after Interior Cabinet Secretary, Dr. Fred Matiang’i, said it was unfounded for any politician to accuse him of meeting Chiefs. He defended that administrators work under his ministry and there is no way he could fail to meet them and plan on safety of the country on a daily basis.
