Sunday, August 7, 2022 –Raila Amolo Odinga was a bright student in class and was always number one. It has been revealed.
His elder brother, Oburu Odinga, for the first time, has disclosed the past school life of Mr. Odinga saying the Azimio flagbearer would always bring a clean report card showing him leading in class.
Oburu who was speaking on NTV show on Sunday August 7 morning added that Raila who is seeking to take over from the outgoing Uhuru Kenyatta was not what some politicians think he is.
He said those thinking Raila was a dunderhead should visit both Kisumu Union Primary and Maranda High School to do their background checks about his academic standards instead of yapping all through in public rallies.
The elderly Oburu added that one thing Raila has never liked doing is to prove to any doubting Thomases about his ability and achievements through public verbal exchange.
“Raila was very bright, he was always number one in the class; I was sometimes number 3, 4 but Raila was always top of the class and he continued like that even when he went to Maranda,” he said.
Odinga’s academic concerns were recently the made the center of discussion around the country when Deputy President William Ruto and his camp attempted to question his Degree status.
They threatened to walk to court to bar the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya leader from IEBC clearance saying he never went upto the University.
Odinga would, however, finally display his fully satisfied Engineering Degree from a foreign university dubbed Otto von Guericke Technical University Magdeburg, in Germany.
