Raila, Ruto Spend day in Church for Pre-Election Prayers

Sunday, August 7, 2022 –Today Sunday August 7 saw both presidential candidates Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto attend church services in the morning to afternoon.

The Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya flagbearer who was accompanied by his running mate Martha Karua alongside Mama Ida Odinga went to the KICC for their pre-election church service.

On the other hand, William Ruto of United Democratic Alliance UDA Party and his wife Rachel were at Jesus Teaching Ministry Church in Kayole, Nairobi.

The two leading presidential candidates – Raila and Ruto – summarized their rallies yesterday as it is required by electoral laws.

For instance, Ruto held his last rally at Nyayo Stadium while Mr. Odinga and the running mate Karua held theirs few kilometers away at Kasarani Stadium.

The two separately delivered their last election campaign pledges promising to deliver the country from the whims of runaway corruption.

General election is scheduled to take place on Tuesday August 9.
