Tuesday August 16, 2022 -Cabinet Minister for Tourism Najib Balala has been the first Cabinet Secretary to reach out to the president-elect William Ruto.
Balala took to his social media platform on Tuesday August 16 congratulating the United Democratic Alliance UDA Party flagbearer who had been handed a victory certificate by the electoral body IEBC.
“Congratulations on your victory Dr. William Ruto, President-Elect, Republic of Kenya . It is by God’s grace and the true will of the people, you were elected President. You have the ability to transform this country for the betterment of all…,” Balala commented.
Several African Presidents have also send Ruto their congratulatory messages including Samia Suluhu of Tanzania, Yoweri Museveni of Uganda and Nigeria’s head of State Muhammadu Buhari.
