Sunday, August 21, 2022 –Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has rubbished viral claims that he is planning to join William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza outfit.
Addressing today Sunday August 21 at JTM Church Donholm in Nairobi, the ex-Vice President clarified that whatever that was being peddled out there was part of the last kicks of a dying horse by Kenya Kwanza members.
He affirmed that he remains a top leader in Azimio whose next agenda is to prove that William Ruto and his team did not fairly win the last general election which was conducted on Tuesday August 9.
He also noted that when they will be going to the Supreme Court tomorrow Monday August 22, it will be the last nail in William Ruto’s political coffin.
Musyoka added that Wiper remains a loyal constituent party in Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition of parties and they have no plan to severe ways as it is being wished by their UDA Party rivals.
“I think those are wishful thinkers. We know where we are going; straight to pursue them in the Supreme Court
“Our @AzimioUmoja-One Kenya Alliance Coalition remains steadfast and determined to pursue all possible avenues of recourse. We will continue our engagements caucusing together,” Kalonzo noted.
Kalonzo’s statement is coming amid hopes by William Ruto’s political camp that he is almost joining them so that to make next government together.
Political pundits have it that William Ruto’s current top agenda is to completely weaken Mr. Odinga and Martha Karua so that they are left with no space to breath.
Ruto was controversially handed the President-elect certificate by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati in a chaotic event held at the Bomas of Kenya National tallying Center.
This move is, however, being challenged in the Apex Court with Azimio leader Raila Odinga holding that Chabukati deliberately erred in awarding Ruto with a victory certificate despite numbers favourig them(Azimio).
