Friday, September 2, 2022 –A section of Azimio La Umoja supporters have called out both MP Junet Mohamed and other top secretariat official in Azimio for what they have termed as misleading Raila during his campaigns,

Led by Lawyer Donald Kipkorir and Blogger Lord Abraham Mutai, on Friday September 2, they stated that Raila had been misled into losing elections and that the people who do this are happily within his campaign circle.

“Before Monday, September 5, the following have to resign from being part of Baba’s Campaign Team: Elizabeth Meyo, George Njoroge, Junet Mohammed, and Saitabao Ole Kanchory. We will rebuild Baba’s Campaign Secretariat afresh & with true & honest soldiers,” Lawyer Kipkorir mentioned; this being part of his follow up calls for an immediate overhaul.

“Raila Odinga was let down & betrayed by people closest to him & those who ran AZIMIO Secretariat. They lied to him they had everything under control. They lied all agents were in place & paid. Now, they are lying about Supreme Court case instead of working on it to be foolproof,” he tweeted on August 25.

His ally, Blogger Lord Abraham Mutai also joined in the debate by listing both Suna East lawmaker Junet Mohamed and head of IT system George Njoroge for being the reason behind the dismal performance in the 2022 election.

“George Njoroge… Don’t get me started….. RESIGN NOW,” he stated.

He also warned Raila’s running mate, Martha Karua, for walking around with some individuals who are part of this mess in the Azimio coalition.

“Martha Karua, look Keenly at your secretariat. Two names FEATURE prominently to have contributed to our sabotage and downfall. You can’t go with them to a re-run. They MUST leave. And ooh yes, they are both FEMALES,” Mutai added.

Their hard-hitting remarks are a development following the conclusion of the Supreme Court hearings which started last Tuesday. The ruling is expected to be delivered on Monday September 5.
