Tuesday, October 18, 2022 –Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya has advised the lady, Lydia Ronad, who recently asked for marriage, to venture into politics.
Speaking after their lunch date today Tuesday October 18 at Parliament building, the youthful MP appeared to be blessing the lady to start working on how to replace MP Silvanus Osoro of South Mugirango Constituency or run for the woman representative position.
“Vaida finally came for a lunch in the Parliament buildings as I had promised Kenyans. Lydia Erad will be the next woman rep of Kisii County or the replacement of my friend Silvanus Osoro of South Mugirango. Her courage and charisma will take her to places,” he observed.
Through his social media platforms, Salasya further expressed his happiness to have met the lady after she went public on her desire to get married to him.
“Finally Kenyans, I told you that I will invite her for a lunch. In fact, we have happened to have had a lunch with her. I have congratulated her for the courage…she’s a brave girl,” Salasya added.
He, therefore, pledged to support her in many ways so that she can also achieve her goals in life but clarified that, on matters relationship, this may not be the time because of his busy schedule back home in Mumais.
“I have a lot of work in the constituency at the moment which maybe…might not allow me to focus so much unto the other side, but she will be a friend. I’ll support her in whatever way, job, business-wise, I’ll support her,” he noted.
Social media users who commented on the remark sharply differed with his claim that he is not interested in starting the relationship and reminded him that it will not be possible to avoid her going forward.
“Peleka mwanamke Mumias. She wants to settle down hataki story mingi za politics. Don’t waste time,” Mbolo Kituyi expressed.
As Toroitich Timothy commented that finally he will fall for her.
