Sunday, October 30, 2022 –Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has answered back Raila Odinga over claims to join government.
Addressing today Sunday October 30 afternoon in a church function, DP Gachagua took-on Odinga asking him to stick to his oversight role in the opposition and forget about joining government.
A fire-spitting Gachagua laughed off claims by Odinga that government was desperate scouting for assistance from those in the opposition.
“You old man listen. We have no business with you in our government; we are not interested because we have work to do.
“Stick to your lane because we do not want you close to any government office,” he slammed Odinga hard.
The DP also reminded their supporters of the past history of Mr. Odinga including the recent reunion with ex-president Uhuru Kenyatta saying whenever Odinga enters a partnership with anyone, his first mission is to destabilize the country what Ruto’s government will not allow.
Yesterday Saturday October 29, Raila who was addressing supporters in his Luo Nyanza backyard warned the new government against sweet-talking opposition leaders into joining government.
The Azimio la Umoja boss went ahead to caution that his opposition side will remain strong and will not be swayed in any manner by the William Ruto’s ‘struggling’ administration.
“We cannot be threatened to join the government, which government?” he posed.
Raila was addressing this matter while in the company of Governor James Orengo as well as Rarieda Member of Parliament Otiende Amolo.
