Saturday, December 10, 2022 –African entertainment fraternity has been thrown into mourning the death of legendary Congolese maestro, Tsahala Muana.
In a report from DRC Congo news outlets and family members, Muana breathed her last on Saturday morning, December, 10.
A popular news source reported that the singer – Muana – died while on treatment in the Capital of Congo – Kinshasa.
Additionally, her spouse Claude Mashala confirmed this death in a Facebook post of Saturday December 10.
“In the early hours of this morning, the good Lord made the decision to take over the national Mamu Tshala Muana. May the good God be glorified for all the good times she has given us on this earth. Farewell Mamu from me,” Mashala posted without giving more details.
Miles away in Kenya, songbird Suzanna Owiyo also took to her social handles to mourn the late whom she described as a talented legend who will be missed by fans across the continent.
“Sad to learn about the passing of Tshala Muana. Africa has lost a gem. Rest well Queen of Mutuas,” she wrote
The late who has died at 64 is known for several hit songs across the continent with her Karibu Yangu and Dezo Dezo songs remaining among most popular compositions that have earned her admiration across the globe.
